Happy Silence Day Saka New Year 1940

Nyepi comes from a lonely word that means quiet, silent, and no activity. The history of Nyepi Day begins with the victory of the Saka tribe led by King Kaniskha I who was crowned King and derivative of Saka on the 1st (one day after tilem) month of 1 (caitramasa) in the 1st year Saka, in March 78 Masehi. Since that year the Hindu community began to commemorate the New Year of Saka meaning as the day of resurrection, the day of tolerance, the day of renewal, the day of togetherness (unity and unity), the day of peace as well as the day of national harmony.

The main purpose of Nyepi’s celebration itself is to appeal before God Almighty or Ida Sanghyang Widhi Wasa, to purify Bhuana Alit (human nature / microcosmos) and Great Bhuana / macrococmos (universe).

Our extended family of PT Asuransi Reliance Indonesia congratulate the Nyepi New Year’s holiday Saka 1940 to our celebrating brothers.

Hopefully on a quiet day more peace will be created.
